Natural herbal female comfort

Possible Indication
Menorrhagia, uterine fibroid, ovarian cyst, endometrial hyperplasia, adenomyosis (invasion of the muscular wall of an organ by the glandular tissue).
Fibroids are non-cancerous growths in the womb usually produced by hormonal imbalance resulting in the over production of estrogen. They often produce no symptoms but can cause excessive menstrual bleeding and pelvic discomfort. Usually bleeding may become more severe due to high blood pressure or increase with blood pressure.
After the period of menopause, small fibroids usually disappear with the contraction of uterus membranes and dryness in vaginal canal. In the case of extra large fibroids, these are to be removed surgically.
Herbal formulations in Ayurveda may be a complementary alternative, which would support the natural healing (withdrawal) potential of fibroids, leaving the uterus intact and many times saves one from hysterectomy (the surgical removal of fibroids). Natural herbal remedies do not remove the fibroid mass. In case of large fibroids, the symptoms produced by them are relieved and fibroids usually shrink in size, remain within the uterus without producing any uneasiness or discomfort and additionally, helping to keep them from further growth.
Ayurvedic Concept
Fibroids can be related to the "Arbuda" and "Granthi" mentioned in Ayurvedic texts. Due to various causes of vitiation of the three humors (three doshas) [Vatta (air) Pitta (fire) and Kapha (water)], i.e. obesity, high intake of meat, saturated fat, dairy products, sugar, chocolates, caffeine, drugs and alcohol, these humors (doshas) become imbalanced (excessive or deficient). These imbalanced doshas (humors) vitiate the mamsa (muscle fibers) of any part of the body. They give rise to the origin of Arbuda or Granthi.
In Arbuda, blood and meda (fatty constituents) are also vitiated. Therefore, in the initiation of tumors or fibroids, the three humors (doshas), as well as, the vitiation of Mamsa (muscle fibers), fat and blood play an important part. The humors (doshas) produce the various types of symptoms according to their nature.
Due to Vatta (air): Tumors or fibroids are big in size having internal bleeding and they tend to be malignant. The color of the menstrual bleeding may be dark and its nature will be thin and dry. The person will suffer from other symptoms like various aches in the body, sleeplessness, constipation and dryness of skin etc.
Due to Pitta (fire): Formation of fibroids is associated with inflammation, infection and they tend to be malignant. Other symptoms are menorrhagia, burning sensation, thirst, acidity and infection of urogenital systems.
Due to Kapha (water): Tumor is slow growing in nature and relatively bigger in size. Other symptoms are heaviness in body, lethargy, excessive sleep, and menorrhagia with lots of blood clots.
Herbs used:
Lodhra (Symplococus recemosa)- very useful in Menorrhagia, endometritis. It constricts the small blood vessels so that it decrease the bleeding.
Mochrus (Bombax malabaricum)- Used in Menorrhagia due to its cold and astringent qualities
Ashoka (Sarraca indica)- very useful in uterine disorders likes Menorrhagia due to any cause.

Laksha (Laccifer lacca).
Bilba (Aegle marmelos)
Klajaji (Nigelia sativa)
Indirect Ingredients
Kuktandtwak bhasma (calcium calcined) 50 to 125 mg.
According to Ayurveda
The benefits of these herbs are to support and balance the symptoms of menorrhagia due to their styplytic action (cold and astringent qualities). Effective astringent action reduces excessive bleeding. They have been successfully used in dysmenorrhea and endometrial hyperplasia.
The combined action of these herbs may be helpful in various gynecological disorders like Menorrhagia, Dysmenorrhea and heaviness in lower abdomen due to uterine fibroids. They do not remove the fibroids, but associated symptoms may successfully be checked. They help to constrict the small blood vessels so that the bleeding is decreased. They have been safely used in endometrial hyperplasia decreasing the bleeding, extra growths and various kinds of small tumors due to their scraping quality. They help to reduce bleeding and pelvic congestion and improve the general health and well being of females.

Ayurvedic Concept
The menopause condition arises approximately between the ages of 45 to 50, when the menstruation ceases. The decrease in hormones is known as climacteric. It is the long process that begins with women in there 40’s. In Ayurveda, it is well described that menses start approximately at the age of 12 and cease at the near age of 50. Between these years doshas (humors) of body also get adjusted. In Ayurveda at this stage, Pitta (fire) gets elevated, (+++), Vata (air) less then Pitta (fire) (++) and Kapha (water)(+) decrease in their quality and quantity. These changes produce many symptoms according to their amount.
According to Ayurveda
Menoaid is a balanced formula for easy transition of Menopause period without any major physical and psychological upset to females. The herbs used for these problems are rich sources of pythooestrogen (plant estrogens are hormones), which our body accepts more easily, then synthetic hormones, which are very much helpful in checking the menopausal syndrome. Deficiency of Kapha (water), which may be correlated with collagen in the body, and increase in Vata (air) (Porousness of tissues including bones) are the main causative factors for this syndrome. It is the collagen that holds the minerals like calcium in the bones. So reforming of collagen is, therefore, a basic need for the correction of the menopausal related pathology. The herbs in Menoaid are mostly Vata Shamak (Air pacifying), some herbs have Tridosh-shamak (Balance all the three humors) and Rasayana (rejuvenating) properties.
