Antirheumatic oil
It is beneficial externally in rheumatism, joints problems, stiff neck, heamplegia, tetanus, lumbago, facial paralysis, noise in ears with headache & nerves problems.
Herbs used :
1. Ashwagandha (Withania sommnifera) - It is pungent, bitter in taste, unctuous & light in characteristics; hot in potency. The oil made with its root is helpful in Vata vitiated problem & general debility.
2. Bala (Sida cordifolia)- It is sweet in taste; light, unctuous, stickyness in characteristics & cold in potency. It is an analgesic & anti-inflammatory.
3. Shatavari (Asparagus Racemosus) - It is sweet & bitter in taste; heavy & unctuous in characteristics and cold in potency. It is an analgesic, increases the intellect & strengthen the nerves.
